To help everyone understand how we fit into the CAP organization, this patch chart is for the organization above the squadron level as well as the related units. The chain of command is where you see the unit identified with location listed.

All CAP units operate under a charter from National Headquarters and under the direction of the chain of command. This is what gives the unit its status as a flight, squadron, group, or wing headquarters as well as authority to carry out the missions.

Effingham Cadet Squadron is chartered in accordance with CAPR 20-1 and operates under the number: SER-GA-453.
